- Personal attacks, insults, or derogatory language
- Bullying or intimidation
Sexual Content & Solicitation
- Displaying explicit nudity or sexual acts on camera
- Soliciting sexual services or engaging in prostitution
- Sexual exploitation or predatory behavior
- Sharing pornographic material
- Inappropriate sexual comments or advances
Illegal Activities
- Discussions or promotion of illegal acts
- Sharing copyrighted material without permission
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
- Drug trafficking or substance abuse promotion
- Child exploitation or inappropriate contact with minors
Platform Integrity
- Using automated bots or scripts
- Attempting to hack, damage, or disrupt the service
- Spamming or mass advertising
- Recording conversations without consent
- Sharing Webcam Chat's source code or exploiting vulnerabilities
Impersonation & Misrepresentation
- Pretending to be someone else (celebrity, platform staff, etc.)
- Using misleading profile information
- Falsely claiming affiliation with organizations
Content Boundaries
Keep conversations appropriate for a general adult audience:
- Allowed: Mature discussions about relationships, life experiences, culture, and personal growth
- Not allowed: Explicit sexual content, graphic violence, hate speech, or adult-oriented material
When in doubt, err on the side of caution. If a topic might make someone uncomfortable or violate our guidelines, don't discuss it.
Age Requirements
Webcam Chat is strictly for users 18 and older. Minors are prohibited from using the platform. If you suspect someone is under 18, report them immediately. We employ age verification systems and take underage access very seriously.
Privacy & Personal Information
Respect privacy—both yours and others':
- Do NOT ask for or share personal information (addresses, phone numbers, workplace, etc.)
- Do NOT pressure others to reveal identifying details
- Do NOT share screenshots or recordings of conversations without explicit consent
- Be cautious about what you reveal about yourself
Reporting & Enforcement
How to Report
Use the "Report" button during any chat to flag violations. You can select the reason and optionally provide additional details. Our moderation team reviews all reports within hours.
What Happens After Reporting
- Reports are reviewed by our moderation team
- Verified violations result in warnings, temporary bans, or permanent bans depending on severity
- Repeat offenders face increasingly severe penalties
- Severe violations (threats, exploitation, illegal content) result in immediate permanent bans and may be reported to authorities
Appeals
If you believe your account was banned in error, you may contact our support team through the contact form. We review appeals on a case-by-case basis. Bans for severe violations (harassment, exploitation, illegal content) are non-appealable.
Moderation Approach
We use a multi-layered moderation system:
- AI Detection: Automated systems scan for prohibited content and behavior patterns
- Human Review: Trained moderators review flagged content and user reports
- User Reporting: Community-driven safety through one-click reporting
- Continuous Updates: We refine our systems based on emerging threats and user feedback
We aim for fairness but reserve the right to take immediate action for severe violations without warning.
Consequences of Violations
Violating these guidelines may result in:
- Warning: For minor first-time offenses
- Temporary Ban: 24 hours to 30 days for moderate or repeated violations
- Permanent Ban: For severe violations or repeated offenses
- Legal Reporting: For illegal activities (child exploitation, threats of violence, etc.)
Zero-Tolerance Policies
These violations result in immediate permanent bans with no warnings:
- Any behavior involving minors
- Sexual exploitation or solicitation
- Threats of violence or harm
- Sharing illegal content (child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, etc.)
- Hacking or attempting to compromise the platform
Your Responsibilities
As a Webcam Chat user, you agree to:
- Follow all Community Guidelines and Terms of Service
- Report violations when you see them
- Respect moderation decisions (appeals process available)
- Use the platform only if you are 18+
- Not attempt to circumvent bans (using VPNs, creating new accounts, etc.)
